Bootleggin' BBQ is very good and has the benefit of being around the corner... but for the BEST BBQ in STL you have to go to Bogart's. Give yourself a little extra time during lunch. They usually have lines out the door (but it's well worth it).

Great new Mexican restaurant that opened up on Washington Ave, not far from the loft. Highly recommend the fajitas and margaritas!

Best little donut shop in the city! The same couple has been running this for 30+ years. Super cheap but best tasting donuts you'll find. Bring cash - they're old school and don't take cards.

Definitely my #1 recommendation for kids aged 3 to 73. A true St. Louis original you can't find anywhere else. It's a jungle gym, play land, work of art, and maze all rolled into one. And it's only a 1/4 mile from the Loft!
