No motorized vehicles - bicycles, horses and, of course walking, are the main sources of transportation. Fudge and ice cream are in abundant supply. Spectacular views of the Mackinaw Bridge! You might want to take the ferry to the island from St. Ignace If you've not driven across the bridge before. Be sure to visit the Grand Hotel - which features one of the longest porches in the world.
