My FAVORITE restaurant in Oviedo! it is family owned, really high quality food at prices similar to Panera Bread. Very casual atmosphere, located in a strip mall, with a nice outdoor patio. They are open lunch and dinner Monday - Saturday, and they serve wine and beer. I have copies of the menus if you want to preview it.

Grocery & Pharmacy
I buy groceries at Publix (closest grocery store). I also really like a newer store we have in Oviedo called Sprouts. For bigger grocery trips, I also visit Target, Walmart and Costco. For Pharmacy needs, we use Walgreens, because it is the closest.
Florida people = we love Publix! Really fabulous grocery store with stellar service.

This is a great grocery store with tons of produce and healthy choices. Kind of like Trader Joe's but it seems bigger to me. Cheaper than Whole Foods. On the weekends, they usually offer $5 coupon if you download their app.

This farm is less than 1 mile from here. The owner is so lovely and offers great barn tours. They have bunnies, chickens, turkeys, a cow and a big ol' pig! I love the outdoor movies they host 1 Saturday a month! Call the owner to schedule a barn tour.

Picking fresh strawberries here December - March is one of our must-do activities. Less than 10 minutes from our property, the owners are wonderful and the strawberries are really delicious. They are not open everyday - we have to look at their Facebook page to see what days they are open each week. The time option is usually 10am - 3pm.

December Holidays in Orlando
The holidays are fabulous in Florida! There are so many fun things to do and see here. A few of my family's favorites are...
This is one of our favorite places! The lights are beautiful, they have a DJ every night. Ice skating, ice slides, a couple rides for the kids. Tuesdays are the discount days.

The Gaylord Palms has SO MANY beautiful decorations. You could spend hours just walking around the atrium admiring the decorations and taking photos of your family. They also have a FREE show a couple times a day during the month of December. We visit the ICE display (it is COLD!) and eat onsite at Wreckers Sports Bar. It isn't fabulous food, but it is cheaper than the other options at the hotel.
