Signature Street food
Following is our recommendation for street food to try around Hanoi. Some of them are close to our homestay, and some of them are worth travelling a bit for the authenticity of Hanoi cuisine.
[Grilled fermented spiced pork]
It is a tiny alley right next to the famous Hanoi Church. Here you can find a tiny alley where people sitting on blue stools - BLUE, not RED because the red ones belong to another foodstall. Here you can try ''Nem Nuong'' aka Grilled fermented spiced pork, which is one of the signature street food of Hanoi.
The price is 5.000vnd/stick, people normally order at least 10 sticks.
The time is from 16:00 to 23:00.

Well known for its signature the whole Coconut Jelly, this place also serves all kinds of desserts and sweets made from coconut. Perfect for a summer day and who have sweet tooth!
