28 miles north of Mesick (east on M-115/M-37 for about a mile and then north at the roundabout to continue on M-37)
- Traverse City is the largest city in the Northern Michigan Region. You will find great shopping and dining options right downtown. There are many wineries on Mission Peninsula and Leelanau Peninsula that stay open in the winter for tours and tastings.
- There are many specialty stores and higher end food markets as well. Pull up Traverse City and search online, the options are pretty endless for food.
