Craft Cafe offers western style breakfast and pretty decent coffee selections. It's near BTS (skytrain) station making it a quick place to grab a coffee before you head out and do some sight seeing.

Tom n Toms is a 24 hr cafe. They do serve breakfast and lunch here with choices of sandwiches and coffee. They also provide internet access with every purchase.

This is a good introduction for Thai cuisine. The market is hustling and bustling with a mix between young working locals and expats and offers many variety of food from Thai, Western, Indian, and just about everything in between. The market is hidden away between apartment building and art galleries making it nice and relaxing spot away from Bangkok traffic. I highly recommend people to dine and drink here and enjoy a wonderful evening in this alcove garden market. There's even live music playing on weekends in the beer garden. Most people relax and enjoy the music well after they finish their meal. It's a nice way to wind down after spending all day exploring Bangkok.

The market is hidden away between apartment building and art galleries making it nice and relaxing spot away from Bangkok traffic. I highly recommend people to dine and drink here and enjoy a wonderful evening in this alcove garden market. There's even live music playing on weekends in the beer garden. Most people relax and enjoy the music well after they finish their meal. It's a nice way to wind down after spending all day exploring Bangkok.

Maggie Choo's a mix of exotic (not strip) bar and live performance. The bar resembles secret bar in Vietnam back in the 70's with dance performance on a piano with live musician playing. It's not a strip show but it definitely is exotic and might not be appropriate for younger audience. Once you enter into the bar, you'll be greeted by the restaurant staff and only when you say you wanna go to the bar, you will be taken into the bar area through a secret passage.

"Enjoying nature” isn’t an activity one would usually expect to be doing while visiting Bangkok. In fact, it’s probably the furthest thing from a jungle that comes to mind, unless of course it’s a concrete jungle you’re referring to.
Little known to many visitors (and perhaps even to some locals too), there is a massive part of the city which is completely covered in lush, green jungle! In fact, navigating around the island makes a fun trip for the whole family.
To get there: you would need hire a boat to take you across. Some bike rental shops offer you a deal; bike rental and boat across/back for 100THB per person. That's a steal if you ask me :)
