One of the best coffee spots in Brighton, named after the mall in Back to the Future. The guys that work here are legends. The place is really dark inside too but it pulls off the eerie Victoriana vibe pretty well, I think.

This is the closest and best place for breakfast. All the food is really good. The staff are friendly and it's all been stylishly done. The coffee is a bit of a let-down but I am a total coffee snob so this might not bother everyone.

If you want a really Instagrammable breakfast/brunch/lunch, this is the place to go. The decor and the food both look fantastic and the food does actually taste as good as it looks. Not the biggest portions for the price you pay but then that's probably missing the point...

Best burgers in the UK. Internationally known. These guys are legendary. There are very few seats here so you might want to get take away. Also they don't do chips.

Great selection of beers, lively, eccentrically decorated. A proper Brighton pub. Open pretty late and they often play good music. No food but you can get pizza from Pizzaface and they won't charge delivery.

This is a funny little "old man's" pub with pictures and memorabilia all over the walls and ceilings. Good collection of ales and craft beers, broken piano, live folk music, etc...

Wine/beer shop and bar. Great atmosphere. They have a game called toads in the back room which is excellent to play after a few beers. The selection of drinks is mostly natural wines and craft beers and they have 4 beers on top at any time. There's a bottle in the flat you can get them to fill up.
