Dharma Blue has Josh's favorite cocktail: Pineapple Jalapeno Margarita! Also, they have a sushi menu in addition to a regular menu, so even non-sushi lovers will be happy. The walls are covered in art, and it simply has a cozy, friendly atmosphere. It's our favorite date night spot.

Pot Roast and Pinot has a theme of comfort foods done gourmet! I love the meatloaf and chicken and waffles. Plus, they have an extensive wine menu. Every once in awhile they do a pajama brunch with a free mimosa if you come in pajamas!

Dolce and Gelato is a themed gelato shop! It is an an area that is great to stroll, next to a park where there are often community events. Josh and I met here, so we are a little biased, but we love it!

George's is a delicious brunch (or lunch, but we go for brunch) spot with home-baked bakery items. You can't beat the truffled potatoes or the popsicle mimosa here!

The Wildlife Sanctuary is small, but free! You drop in, wander around to look at the animals, and donate in the anonymous donation box if you feel like supporting the organization. It's a great free activity that many don't know about!

Parks & Nature
Fort Pickens is really neat to visit. You can explore remnants of an old battleground and then spend the day at the beach with far fewer tourists than the other beaches nearby. There is a fee per car to visit, but it is worth it. As a protected wildlife area, there's many animals to see as well.

The bluffs are a series of walking paths, much of which are wooden so you can look out over the water. It is beautiful, but make sure to go during the day for safety reasons.
