All around goodness any time of day. Delicious breakfast, lunch, coffee and Sunday brunch. They also serve dinner in the summers. Their savory foods are delicious but save room for dessert. Many a guests of mine have stood nose pressed to the glass trying to decide which pastry to try. When they have it, their "simple chocolate cake" is to die for. Don't be fooled by the name. But really, you can't go wrong there.

Arts & Culture
You'd be surprised how controversial Norman Rockwell was. And the museum is housed on a gorgeous property. Norman Rockwell's actual studio is also there with stunning views of the mountains. It's well worth the stroll from the museum to visit it. If you go in the fall, you can snack on an apple you pick from one of the trees along the path!

Norman Rockwell's actual studio is also there with stunning views of the mountains. It's well worth the stroll from the museum to visit it. If you go in the fall, you can snack on an apple you pick from one of the trees along the path!
Country home, studio and gardens of Daniel Chester French, the sculptor who created the Lincoln Memorial. In fact, the Lincoln Memorial was made in pieces in his studio here in the Berkshires. A full price ticket allows you to tour his home, studio, and the grounds. You can also purchase a "garden only" ticket for less money. It's wonderful sometimes to simply take a walk around the property and look at the contemporary sculptures curated each year and nestled among the pine trees and bushes.

There are many local boutique shops for clothes and home goods. Rubiner's is an excellent cheesemonger with a sandwich/coffee shop (Rubi's) in the back. There are many restaurants including popular Baba Louie's (pizza) and The Prairie Whale run by Mark Firth of Marlow & Sons fame in NYC.

From easy to hard, there is something for everyone right here in the town of New Marlborough, as well as an abundance of nature reserves in the surrounding areas. Forest bathing is good for the soul!
