Great restaurant, and great food. I personally enjoy their smoothies. Great to visit before and after sunset to avoid mosquitoes since it is an open air restaurant.

Restaurant with great food and close enough to go on foot. If you need a place to watch a sports match or something they have a TV and will allow it's use provided you eat a meal there.

This is more on the pricey side but it's great for a romantic night out or something different to try with other adults. They have great carpaccio.

A bit expensive but great food. It's a nice hotel with a great restaurant but like I mentioned it's pricey so if you go with kids it might not be worth the price, that's really up to you to decide.

Everything Else
The town of Monterrico has several small shops for food and clothing if something is forgotten or plans were changed. The actual town of Monterrico is simple but has lots to offer by way of small shops for food and clothing if something is forgotten or plans were changed. There are also several ice cream places and "tourist" shops. For Easter (semana santa) sometimes there are some Henna Tattoo groups that apear in the town and do a great job with temporary tattoos. But for big holidays there is a lot of traffic and not many places to park so we recommend walking.
