Metro and trams in Finland
The metro system in Finland is clean and safe to use. There are only two ways the metro goes so you won't get lost.
A single ticket costs around 3€ for 80mins or 9€ per day. The zone you need to buy is "AB" and the same ticket also allows you to use trams and buses, as well as the ferry to Suomenlinna island.
You should use the HSL app to purchase tickets, but there are at some stops also machines available for purchasing tickets (but not in all of them!)
Make sure to purchase a ticket before entering the vehicle or metro stairs, otherwise, you can get an 80€ bill!

Use Uber or another taxi app
Use Uber or a similar app when booking taxis to avoid getting scammed. You will save a lot compared to taking a random taxi from the street!
