While it's not particularly close to us in Hackney, this is still our favourite shop in London, run by close friends of ours they sell ethical clothing and shoes. It is a beautiful shop run by wonderful people and we recommend it 100%.

Spitalfields is open most days (check first online) my favourite is Thursdays for the vintage market. London Fields to Liverpool St takes about 10 mins on the train and you can walk easily to Spitalfields from there.
