Parks & Nature
Agate Beach- This great walking beach is located near Nymph Cottage. If you go during low tide the tide pooling is truly fantastic. You can see: sea anemones, hermit crabs, starfish and king crabs. You'll want to dress warmly and wear good shoes, as it can be breezy. Also in low tide, you can walk to the right on a nice coastline walk. This is a handy site for finding out when low tide is:

Directions to Agate Beach from Nymph Cottage:
Head East on Cherry and take a left on Maple, Left on Elm and down the road about a ¼ of a mile on your left is the entrance. You can walk there (15 Minutes) or drive (5 minutes) and there is a parking lot at the entrance to the beach.
