Fenit is an excellent village outside of Tralee, it has the added bonus that the Kingdom of Kerry Greenway has a starting point from here to Tralee town, a fabulous route that gives you a sample of the greenways in Kerry. Also, Fenit is a fantastic spot if you are into fishing with mackerel in abundance
