This is the closest entrance to South Mountain Park from our home. You can hike, run or mountain bike from this entrance. There is a water fountain and bathroom at this trail head, but you MUST carry your own water while on the trails; take more than you think you need in the summer.

Tons of trails for hiking, running and mountain biking. This entrance is on the north side of the mountain and gives you access to a paved road which you can ride your road bike to the top for a stunning view! Recommended for avid cyclists, a good 8.5 mile climb with some steep sections.
You can also drive to the top of the mountain from this entrance and see the same view.
