This is a very accessible walk - 20min from the carpark on a low-moderate climb track you will be walking on an alpine plateau with views all the way to Bruny Island and Mt Wellington.
If you continue to the top of Hartz Peak you will have 360 degree views to peaks such as The Western Arthurs, Mt La Perouse to the south, Frenchman's Cap

This is a very accessible walk - 20min from the carpark on a low-moderate climb track you will be walking on an alpine plateau with views all the way to Bruny Island and Mt Wellington.
If you continue to the top of Hartz Peak you will have 360 degree views to peaks such as The Western Arthurs, Mt La Perouse to the south, Frenchman's Cap
This is the easiest 16km walk I have done. It is almost flat and takes just under 2hrs each way. At the far end you will reach the South Coast with beautiful beach, clear blue water, seaweeds and kelp. You can also camp at the start of the track near the rangers hut. The track is very well kept and running shoes are fine for most people.
Drive to Cockle Creek (about 2hrs each way) Note the last 20km is dirt road (unsealed).
