Ole’s is about a 20 minute drive from the cabin, but if you’re in the mood for Mexican, it’s the place to go. Their pizza is also really good too! The food and service are always great.

Into the “city”
If you’re just needing something new to do that isn’t too far from the cabin (if you need more people, and less quiet), Beckley has a few fun options too! It’s about a 30 minute drive from us.
The Chocolate Moose is one of my favorites. It’s a coffee shop (with bubble tea), mini golf course (WV themed! This part is outdoors, of course), and an indoor rock climbing gym all at one stop! It has something for kids and grownups alike. They also keep the coffee shop stocked with board games for those rainy days. They are definitely worth checking out if you’re wanting to get out and explore. :)

This has been one of my more recent favorite date nights with my husband. It’s a chill atmosphere, laced with friendly competition. A fun thing to try at least once or twice for sure (that way everyone in your group gets a chance for bragging rights).

Sightseeing
Twin Falls is a nice little state park with hiking trails, a restaurant in the lodge, a pioneer farm, and playgrounds for the kids. SXS/ATV/Dirtbikes are prohibited though. BUT that means it’s the perfect place to enjoy the quiet of nature.
