Visit the Tate Gallery or grab some lunch and lay back on one of many beaches. St Ives gets very busy and although there are lots of car parks, we鈥檝e spent many times driving around in circles trying to find a parking space.

This beach gets very busy but you鈥檒l see why! Easily accessible but with a steep sandy slope at the entrance. There鈥檚 a large car park with toilets at the start of the footpath to the beach.

This beach gets very busy but you鈥檒l see why! Easily accessible but with a steep sandy slope at the entrance. There鈥檚 a large car park with toilets at the start of the footpath to the beach.
Known by the locals as Pedney, this beach has been named eighth best in the world. It鈥檚 a steep climb down the cliff from Treen car park. You can also access it from Porthcurno Beach at low tide, however if you get cut off by the tide you鈥檒l have to do the steep climb. It is a nudist beach but don鈥檛 let that put you off, we鈥檝e often stood and chatted to people we know whilst we are fully clothed and they鈥檙e not!

South West Coast PathKnown by the locals as Pedney, this beach has been named eighth best in the world. It鈥檚 a steep climb down the cliff from Treen car park. You can also access it from Porthcurno Beach at low tide, however if you get cut off by the tide you鈥檒l have to do the steep climb. It is a nudist beach but don鈥檛 let that put you off, we鈥檝e often stood and chatted to people we know whilst we are fully clothed and they鈥檙e not!

No trip to Cornwall is complete without a visit to St Ives. It gets extremely busy there so we recommend taking the train. The train stops off just above Porthminster Beach. There鈥檚 a lovely caf茅 and toilets here.
