Little has changed in this fish and chip shop since 1948, a coal fired fryer and beef dripping to fry the chips from local potatoes and fresh Grimsby fish. Delicious and a real taste of history!! Quite a long way from the cottage!

A very friendly village, easy connection from Lincoln, Horncastle, Spilsby & Skegness via main bus route ( hourly ). Many pretty walks within Hagworthingham, including Snipe Dales woods and Furze Hill reserve. At the bottom of the lane you'll find a Ford of water running over the road and a little nature reserve. A short walk to the George and Dragon Pub, which has ample seating indoors and out for food and drink. The village also has two cafes, JJ's and Rachel's. There is also an antique/ bric a brac shop, and a butcher shop. There is a picturesque water mill, Stockwith mill which is a pretty wedding venue.
