This waterfall was greatly affected by the forest fire last year. It's trail has now been restored, and educational signage added to show visitors what happened and what happens with nature after the fire passes through.

The river begins in Epuyen and flows alongside Pedregoso, into the neighbourhoods of Desemboque and Rincón de Lobos. Along the river bank there are many places to walk and take a dip. The river finally connects to the Lago Puelo in the Desemboque.

It's a great place to pass the day, it is a privately run campground that is situated on the end of Lago Puelo. The drive to get there is half of the adventure- it really is possible to live a world away from the modern world we all know- when you have a some kms and mountains in between ;)

A beautiful drive along RUTA 40 from Rincon to Epuyen, going around the Pirque mountain to the other side of the Lago Epuyen. Another gorgeous place to pass the day, swimming, picnicking, kayaking, hiking, sailing or hanging out!!

There are so many beautiful spots alongside the Rio Azul to explore. The river goes from Lago Puelo in Chubut Province and borders alongside El Bolson in Rio Negro. There are hiking trails, campsites, picnic spots and so many more beautiful and interesting places to explore along the way.

Hike up the Piltriquitron mountain, along the way you can pass the 'bosque tallado' - a forest of carved statues. Further along the way you come to the Refugio of Piltri, where you can have a snack and a drink, and enjoy the panoramic views of El Hoyo, Lago Puelo and El Bolson!
There is a trail that goes even farther up if you are up for the challenge!
