Delicious food and beautiful palapa. Great for a romantic date night. Beautiful beach and sunset. Driving up the steepish bumpy food appears to be a challenge but is doable .

Happy hour/ sunset
Right on the beach with a hot tub and great happy hour. Will or Alex will be happy to mix up what you desire. Sit at a beach table or in the hot tub and enjoy your sunset. Great breakfast and food. Supervised children are welcomed ! As well as dogs!

Driving
Traffic revisions are in progress on the highway which is also the center of town. Restaurants , bars, gas station bus station etc. Please drive slowly and watch for dogs and kids running across the highway.

La Jardine is a stunning locals restaurant. As you enter Todos Santos, immediately after the tope or speed bump, take a right on go up the hill. It will be on your left. Daniela is the owner and excellent hostess. Enjoy another sunset and check out the website for music

Cerritos beach
Great and only beach for swimming. Be aware of undertow and don’t swim near the rocks. This is the shipping lane for surfers as the water spills back Into the ocean. Great spot to learn how to surf.barracudas restaurant is right near the beach. Great tacos ceviche . Danny and his crew make this a great place you can go to in your swimming suits. Occasionally reggae music / performers.

Purchase politeness and the culture
Please be mindful that the merchants, business owners are definitely working for a living. The beach vendors are selling items usually below retail cost. Please don’t barter to much. They work hard. Also the beach masseuse’s are some of the best! Tips or propinas are very much appreciated! The people here are a loving gentle gente.

Drinking and driving , swimming etc
Alcohol abounds here. Please be cautious and aware of your consumption. Be aware of potential animals on the road and potholes. Walking around town is fun but don’t forget to look down and up. Don’t walk in the street.

Clothing
Sunscreen ! Swimsuits! Light jacket. You can buy a great sombrero on the beach. Flip flops. Decent walking shoes for town. Women still tend to wear sun dresses versus shorts in town per tradition. Men wear shirts. Evening dining in nice restaurants can be boho or beach “dress.”

The bano!
Most septic systems don’t handle toliet paper or feminine hygiene products. They go in the trash can. Also, water is precious. Don’t leave the water running !

Covid and travel
The local clinic in todos does Covid tests. You must have them done before traveling back I to the USA. You can usually get the test done two days before traveling.
