Thistlethwaite falls is a hidden gem located just 15 miles from the apartment. With easy access to the falls, this is a great activity for people of all ages. If you are feeling like a hike in the river, throw on your boots or water shoes or go barefoot and make your way down the river to enjoy nature--bring along a small net to catch small crabs and fish. From this spot on the river, the depth only reaches about 2-3 feet at its deepest part making for easy traversing through the river and great for kids to walk in with you.
