There are many great restaurants, catering especially well for vegans and vegetarians. The award winning Terre a Terre is probably my favourite restaurant, fancy food in a relaxed setting, but Brighton has something for everyone!

My favourite walk/pub lunch
Set in the heart of Cuckfield the Talbot offers a range of lunch, bar and dinner menus as well as traditional Sunday lunch. They also have a deli offering local produce. You can walk here in about 40 minutes through Bluntswood (good path all the way) and explore Cuckfield Church along the way.

A popular local heritage park with an adventure playground and a miniature railway to take a ride on with the kids. There is a Harvester restaurant here where you can eat outside and watch the kids in the park. 20 mins walk from Pear Tree
