Every year in the spring, (March 19th-22nd) the city closes down part of Wellington street and they host a big sugar-shack type of event for three days. Local restaurants & commerces serve interesting food & drinks/offer discounts for their business in individual little wooden shacks. It’s just a way for people to discover small businesses in the area & encourage local economy :) There are outdoor concerts, maple taffy on the snow and lots of plaid. It really gives you a feel for the community. If you’re in the area, don’t miss out on it!
