Your adventure begins at a cafe conveniently located in central Denver. After a short introduction we will head to the hills and carpool to the hiking trail. On your hike you will learn about nature, get to know new friends, take water and snack breaks, and take heaps of pictures of the breathtaking views. The hike is about 3 miles depending on the ability of the hikers and length of the trail. After the hike we will return to the cafe. All of our hiking experiences are personalized based on the size of the group and ability of the hikers. We offer both group and private hikes, corporate events, large parties welcome! We cannot wait to show you the beauty in Denver’s back yard! This trail is located 30 minutes from Denver and it's easily accessible year-round. We will go on a leisurely walk to explore the scenic views while photographically documenting the experience. We are seasoned photographers with over 500 5-star reviews across all platforms! Details: * Consider choosing a weekday to avoid crowds. * This is a private experience. You will not be booked with strangers. * The trail is easy to navigate for beginners and children. We are Denver local hiking enthusiasts who love to take guests of all levels of experience to low traffic trails with breathtaking views all year round! We are the original Denver guided hiking tour. We start our adventure at one of Denver's best coffee shops, in the Highlands neighborhood, minutes from downtown. We will customize the hike based on the preferences of the group and the current trail conditions. We'll connect with nature, soak in the sunshine, see jaw dropping mountain views, maybe see some wildlife, take snack and water breaks, learn about the wildflowers and trees, make new friends, get some exercise and breathe in the fresh mountain air! We will take amazing photos (check out our insta @hikingintherockies) and send them to you at the end of the hike for memories that will last a lifetime. Our hope is that you'll feel healthier and happier after spending time hiking with us and connecting with the beauty of Colorado. There will be an optional group lunch after the hike or you can buy lunch at the coffee shop and eat at a picturesque spot on the trail. The guided hike's elevation will be somewhere between 6,000 and 12,000 ft. A car is not required for this experience, but we encourage guests to provide their own transportation. If that is not possible, we are happy to drive you in our car and we will return to the meeting spot at the end of the tour.

Experience the excitement of making your own piece of jewelry! This is a three hour hands-on workshop, in which you will learn the silversmithing fabrication techniques to make a sterling silver band ring. All materials and tools will be provided for the workshop. Just come, have fun and learn! During the workshop you will be lead step-by-step through the processes. It is a very safe environment, however each participate will be asked to sign a liability waiver and safety will be discussed. The process begins by measuring and cutting a piece a sterling silver the desired width of your ring. Next the metal is annealed with a torch. Annealing is the process of heating metal with a flame to make it malleable. After each time the metal is heated, it is cleaned in a solution to remove the oxidation that is created on the surface. Once the metal is prepared, you will have choices of hammers and metal stamps to texture a pattern onto the sterling silver, creating your personal design. Then the metal is cut to the length required for your ring size, formed into shape and soldered together. The final steps are refining, buffing and polishing your creation to have a beautiful shine! Rest assured that your safety is our priority. Regarding COVID-19, we have a cleaning protocol in place. Disinfecting wipes and hand sanitizer are available for your use.

Over the course of the crawl we'll visit at least four bars. The Denver Country Club Neighborhood was designed in 1909 by William and Arthur Fisher, working with Frederick Law Olmsted, Jr. My studio is within the original Country Club Historic District. It is on the National Historic Home Registry and it was the Pony Express Stop. We can take walking tours and explore the architecture and mature landscaping of my neighborhood. We can stop to sketch and paint as well. Our painting will be in the French Impressionist, Favism and Nabi style. First we will meet at my studio and I will give a brief overview of techniques we can explore that day; for example: Claude Monet, Pierre Bonnard, Berthe Morisot, Edouard Vuillard and Henri Matisse for example. Weather permitting we will will paint outdoors in the picturesque exclusive Historic Denver Country Club Neighborhood. If we remain in the studio we will have a still life to paint. Our goal is to have lots of fun, meet new friends, paint and enjoy a beautiful day being creative. You will take home a canvas painting suitable for framing. Coffee, tea and water will be served. If you wish to bring a snack or something to drink please do. There is also availability to have your portrait painted on a different day. Our tour is a great primer into the development of Colorado over the years and the artistic boom that has accompanied the growth. NOTE: The RiNo Art District has a brand new street art festival in 2023, the Denver Walls Festival! It's from Sept 22nd to Oct 3rd! We are offering daily tours at special rates during the festival. Denver's most unique foodie experience! Each food tour is unique as we rotate through some of our favorite locally owned eateries, so please know up front that each tour is planned individually and is not a daily rotation of the same tour every time. In the 14 years of food-touring across Denver, Boulder, and Fort Collins, Megan has made relationships with dozens and dozens of chefs and restauranteurs. So, that enables our tours to be different as we feature many different places total but only 5 or so per tour. We'll meet, greet, and then head to stop one to eat. On our food tours, guests will learn about the local Denver food scene, taste chef's choice foods and bartender's choice beverages, and learn about the neighborhood we're touring. We currently explore LoHi for our AirBnB Experience. Guests learn the exact itinerary at the start of the tour, but can expect at least five stops over the course of three hours. And we always end with dessert! Eat, drink, walk repeat! Dietary restrictions and food allergies communicated in advance are usually easily accommodated. Your guide will either be Megan (local food tour owner) or Linnea (local food writer).

This experience is perfect for social media posts, proposals, and corporate events! You came to Denver to hike the mountains and take home memories. You want photos! However, you don't want to ask complete strangers to take photos for you. You also don't want your other photos to be all selfies! You want photos to be proud of. But, how do you begin to plan? That's where I come in! After you book an exciting hike with me, I send you out a questionnaire so I can learn what you want so I can tailor it to your needs. I call you the day before the hike to confirm everything for your exciting day out. On the day of the hike, I come to pick you up at your place in the Denver metro area an hour or so before sunrise. To document your adventure out in the mountains, I bring 2 professional DSLR cameras. Throughout the hike, I take photos of you, the group, the mountains and anything else you want. After the hike is done, you will safely arrive back at your place and will have the rest of the day to reflect on the fact that you did so much before lunch. What You'll Do: Meet and Greet: we use name tags so we'll all be on 1st name basis. We take a tour of our solarium, garden and studio. We introduce you to Steven's custom-made molds from which you will make your choice. We discuss the glycerin products we selected for our soap making classes. We present the option and qualities of using CBD oil in your soap. You select the scent and color for your soap creation. You mix and pour your soap ingredients into your mold. Time to refresh while your soap cools. Learn about other Colorado attractions. You remove your soap from its mold. Each person will take home two 3oz bars of soap. NOW wrap your Colorado-handmade soaps to travel. NOTE: A copy of TSA policy regarding travel with CBD products will be available Other things to note Guests will be able to use restroom facilities located in the house, both studio and house are heated and cooled. We have a cat, that will be restricted from guests during their visit if needed.

You will start by picking out your wood blanks from an assortment of hardwoods, both natural and dyed that will be assembled during our workshop, cut, carved, polished and finished into something you can really be proud of. At the end of the workshop feel free to bring your own tobacco or otherwise seeing as how this is Colorado.... Feel free to bring a friend to observe for FREE! However seating is limited and prioritized for paying participants work order will go: -Pick your wood -Design your shapes -Assemble the blanks with glue and clamps -Take a quick beer/wine break -Sanding and finishing and engraving -Enjoy your new creation! The whole process will last roughly two hours, we will be in my shop (Garage) the entirety of the work time and mainly you will be using a rotary tool with an extension attachment (makes it like using a pen to carve/sand rather than holding the entire tool). I will have music playing and examples for ideas, like I mentioned feel free to bring things to try with your new pipe after we are done or BYOB while we work as well. Just use common sense, we will be working with power tools that have sharp bits. Other things to note Any and all experience levels are welcome, I especially encourage folks who have never tried any wood working. I will always be there to help or step in if needed.

Join us for an adventure into the unknown on this Ghosts of Capitol Hill tour experience. It's the perfect way to experience Denver's mystery, history, legend & lore, or, if you're just looking for a fun nighttime experience. It's also a great opportunity to explore Denver on foot, plus get a great introduction to the Mile High City's renowned Capitol Hill area! Your experience kicks off on Cheesman Park's north end. The stories that all of our Denver ghosts, apparitions, and ghouls have to tell will raise the hairs on your arms & give you a glimpse into the strange happenings of Denver's seedy past! This experience visits the sights that inspired the movies The Changeling & Poltergeist, an old burial graveyard turned park, the most haunted home in Colorado, historic haunted mansions with reported paranormal activity. Your experience will last about 2-2.5 hours.  Along the way, you'll have opportunities to ask questions, take photos, chat one-on-one and see and learn more in 2 hours than you thought possible. Will you see a roaming spirit, poltergeist or ghost? Please note: Our hair-rising stories are told outside; we don't go inside these buildings, as they're all privately owned along our 1.5 mile route (very flat walk with plenty of stops) that ends 0.8 miles from the starting location. This is a great area to visit to see what downtown Denver has to offer! As we make our way around, I will be documenting your time with professional photos of you and your loved one. I’ll capture you in beautiful backdrops around the cityscapes while grabbing some coffee or ice cream along the way! If you are looking for engagements photos, anniversary photos, or a special way to commemorate your time here in downtown Denver, this is the perfect way to accomplish that!
