Guests have use of an entire suite / a light, spacious bedroom in our annexe, just 10 m from a 16th century Elizabethan cottage in the very heart of Stamford. (High St. is barely 1 min walk away but the street is quiet, as it is an access only road) The annexe has a private entrance with 2 secure locks. Parking - free on site. Private en-suite bathroom & shower. Wifi, TV, microwave, kettle & light breakfast are provided (cereals/fruit) & guests are welcome to use our cottage kitchen & laundry.

Hunky Dory Cottage, Central Oakham, Rutland

Our recently renovated 'home from home' is situated in the heart of Oakham with the boutique shops of Mill Street and many cafés, bars and restaurants of Oakham on its doorstep. The castle & park are an easy walk away as are all the towns amenities & attractions. The cottage is surrounded by roses and has been decorated by the owner, Jane, in her own unique style. All 3 beds are king size making it ideal for small families or up to 3 couples with good size dining room, lounge and a new kitchen.

Other features include a dishwasher, cot, washing machine / tumble dryer, iron and ironing board, and air conditioning and wifi throughout. All towels & bed linen provided.

Just a 10 minute drive to Stamford, and set in a peaceful location with walks to nearby woods and nature reserves on the doorstep. Enjoy the quiet calm whilst you relax with a glass (or two!) sitting in the sunny courtyard patio, or unwind in the orchard and watch kites soaring overhead. The log burner ensures a cosy evening after exploring this beautiful area described as the undiscovered Cotswolds. Eat in or enjoy superb food at one of many local eateries. Stylish Grade II listed C18 stone cottage in village's conservation area. It's quiet and comfortable, with simple Scandinavian interiors with a beautiful landscaped garden and large bbq area. The furniture and furnishings are hand made or antique with high quality appliances, comfortable settees and tasteful contemporary pictures and art works. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with great natural light. There is a stylish first fl bathroom and separate ground floor toilet. NB pet rules

Charming, central stone house in Stamford

A charming 2 bedroom house, a few minutes walk from Red Lion Square. The perfect base from which to explore this Georgian gem of a town. Cosy sitting room, separate TV room, well equipped kitchen with table. Two spacious bedrooms. Modern shower room. Enclosed rear courtyard. As there are 2 flights of steep stairs (one without a banister) between the bedrooms and the bathroom the house isn’t suitable for those with restricted mobility. Logs are not provided but are available to buy locally.

Located in an ideal area for walking to Burghley House or travelling and exploring the local villages and places of interest such as Rutland Water. Unfortunately we are unsuitable for small children and wheelchairs due to the stairs.

A self-contained annex of 350 year old grade II listed country cottage in the beautiful Rutland village of North Luffenham, close to Rutland Water and historic towns of Stamford, Oakham and Uppingham. Accommodation is perfect for two or a small family with one child, consists of entrance hall with utilities leading up to double bedroom, and shower room on the first floor, and down to kitchen, lounge , working fireplace on the ground floor. An extra single bed available on request.
