The Pool House at Mill Cottage offers a unique riverside escape with exclusive access to a private pool (Mar 1st - Oct 1st 2025 & Apr 1st - Oct 1st 2026). Nestled on the Thames, enjoy easy access to riverside cafes and restaurants by foot or boat. The charming one-bedroom retreat features blackout blinds for restful nights, plus a small sofa bed for extra guests. Just minutes from Goring on Thames village and the train station, it also boasts a BBQ and outdoor seating area for relaxing evenings.

Charming, riverside log cabin on the bank of the Kennett, overlooking a nature reserve. Privately located in my back garden there is a large open plan room with 2 double sofa beds, sleeping 4, a slate bed pool table & Hi Fi system. There's a luxury en suite bathroom with copper bathtub, shower, basin & WC. There are basic kitchen facilities with kettle, toaster, double hot plate, microwave & grill, sink & refrigerator/freezer. A veranda with 2 bbq's & seats plus lower deck overlook the river.

Enjoy a glass of bubbles on your own private terrace before strolling to dinner at this famous Cotswold stone Manor. The Loft @ Burghfield is a hotel style self-contained one bedroomed annexe with separate entrance, kitchenette and ensuite shower room. Located in the heart of the charming village of Burghfield Common it offers excellent links to Reading, Basingstoke, Newbury and London as well as offering woodland walks on the doorstep. Perfect for visiting relatives or whilst working at nearby AWE. Please note that the annexe is not available for "day use" and we will expect all guests to stay overnight.

The house was 'created' in 2020 having originally been part of the village pub - it’s now part of a redeveloped property which also includes the owners home and a fabulous cafe called Artichoke Cafe. The property is right in the heart of the picturesque riverside village of Pangbourne with its fabulous specialist shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Yet only ten minutes walk gets you to the countryside! The village also boasts a mainline station with direct trains to London Paddington.

A detached, Grade ll, 200 year old thatched cottage in the small village of Ashford Hill, close to Newbury. My husband Andy and I own this one bedroom cottage, which has been carefully furnished and has parking and a small dedicated outdoor space.. It is an ideal base to explore the local area. Guests can visit Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey), attend the races at Newbury Race Course or enjoy the walks in the surrounding area including Watership Down.

The Pool House

Relax and reset at the Pool House. The Pool House provides a quiet location where you can relax away from the world. Swim in our pool, heated during the warmer months. During the colder months enjoy a cold plunge, beneficial for body and mind. Ease your aches and muscles in the hot tub. Please note: you are using the pool and hot tub at your own risk, there is no life guard! Please watch children and non swimmers in the pool and hot tub at all times.
