The Former Mechanics Institute - Grade 2 listed

The Former Mechanics institute in Masham is a grade 2 listed building stepped in history. The building was Mashamshires Lecture hall from 1856 until until the 1950's when it became the Town Library and the Midland Bank. The main advantage of this building is that the former Lecture hall / Library room remains intact and there perfect place for people to drink and dine. The dining table seats 12! The Salt House Cottage, Pilmoor

Guests have a small private grassed area with a table and chairs. The cottage has dishwasher, washing machine and wood burning stove, all logs included. We do not accept pets. In summer, when the swing seat is out, guests have access to the main garden. The cottage has no internet connection but depending on your network, a good 3G or 4G signal can be accessed. We do not accept bookings from people who smoke or vape. Check in from 2pm, check out 10am.
