Fresh bath towels and bed linen, tips about Crete, and a free city guide with the hip spots of the town are provided so that you feel like a local. My house lies in the heart of Chania in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood just 800 m. away from the Old Town and only 15 min walk from the nearest sandy beach. The closest beach is 800 m.away. Bakery, super market and pharmacy are all within walking distance. Every Wednesday there is an open-air farmers' market in the neighborhood. We recently installed an optical fiber based network, so that you can work remotely reliably with stability and internet speed of 100 Mbps. The central bus station is only 5 mins walk, so the access to the airport, as well as all beaches and villages is very very easy. The Old Port is just a 15 min walk. If you still decide to rent a car, parking will not be a problem around the area! This is a smoking free apt. Please enjoy your cigarette on the balcony !

Our settlement is built on a hill slope and it has such an orientation that it offers an impressive mountain, valley and sea view from all houses. During night hours, thousands of stars will magnetize your eyes. And at day musical sounds, vivid colours and perfums, captivating scents, pure flavours and the close touch with nature will awaken all your senses and their remembrance will remain unforgettable. There are many communal areas, all free accessible from our guest. There is a barbecue area with a wooden oven and a big dinning area under a pergola. A small but fully equipment fitness room, a steam bath, mountain bikes, a 40m² eco swimming pool - heated when required, cd, dvd and book library, and a traditional style, on honor system working and only with local products, mini market - cafe. I'm spending few hours per day at the property, so you are always welcome to ask me any kind of information you maybe need. I am also available 24h a day on my mobile phone for anything you maybe need. Samonas is a peaceful village which has preserved its authentic character due to being very small and quiet with few inhabitants. There are a number of places to explore, and the beach is nearby. We recommended to rent a car and here are directions how to get to Samonas. a) From Chania airport follow the route: Airport - Souda - Megala Horafia - Styos - Samonas. More specific: 7km from the airport you turn left to Souda. Then enter the high way with direction to Rethymnon. A few kilometers after, follow the exit to Megala Horafia and go straight ahead to the village of Stylos. At the end of Stylos village, the road is separated. You have to follow the right acclivitous one. After 5km you will reach Samonas village. Our traditional houses are on your left hand, after the first couple of residences. b) From Heraklion airport follow the route: Airport - Rethymnon - Kalyves - Stylos - Samonas. More specific: From Heraklion - Rethymnon head to Chania. From the high way follow the exit to Kalyves and then left to the villages of Armenoi - Neo Horio - Stylos. At the entrance of Stylos, turn left and follow the narrow acclivitous road to Samonas (5km). Our traditional houses are on your left hand, after the first couple of residences. Although everybody is welcome, in order to ensure a safe, relaxing and quiet environment to all, we do not recommend our complex to children under 12y.o. Smoking is not allowed into the villas.
