Adagiato sul declivio di una piccola vallata pantesca, circondata da ulivi, muri a secco, fichi d'india ed il mare, con le coste africane visibili in lontananza, il dammuso "c'era una volta" offre una posizione invidiabile, tra i due centri principali dell'isola, raggiungibili in dieci minuti, isolato ed immerso tra i suoni ed i colori della natura. Raggiungibile in tre minuti di percorso tramite una antica mulattiera, conserva tramite il carattere rurale lo spirito di una isola unica.

The house is part of a bigger dammuso but its position is private and extremely quiet and you will have the place all for yourself. It’s said to have the best view of the sunset you can have on the island! It’s at a 10 minute walk from Scauri centre, where you can find everything you might need: bakery, supermarket, restaurants, coffee shops, the cinema, the pharmacy and a church.

Dammuso di antica costruzione con tre camere , un bagno, cucina, sala da pranzo. Le stanze sono ampie e a volta ed hanno un'altezza di 5 metri caratteristica che rende il dammuso molto fresco. Lo spazio esterno dispone di un patio assolato la mattina e di un'ampia terrazza con cucina rustica corredata di lavabo, fornelli, barbecue e "cuffulare" (antica stufa a legna dove anticamente i panteschi erano soliti piazzare il pentolone per bollire i ravioli)
