Guests can enjoy fishing, sight seeing, canoeing and kayaking the Chippewa River or Elk Lake, biking, hiking, atv/utv and snowmobile trails nearby as well. Enter a world of peace and calm deep in the woods. This is a beautiful rustic cabin that has been beautifully restored. Permit issued and inspected by Dunn County.

Water's Edge House on Tainter Lake

Gorgeous little house with cap cod feel, right on the water. We call this baby "Water's Edge on Tainter Lake". Perfect way for a quick escape from the Twin cities, only 50 minutes away. Fish off the permanent dock on the water. Beautiful views and sunsets on a fun, active recreational lake. Short boat ride to Jake's super club. Some guests say its a "private location", but we are on a very active lake with houses close by. Please read our "other details to note" for more info.

Our cozy cottage on the banks of the Willow River is ideally situated for enjoying the Willow River State Park experience while enjoying the comforts of home. Willow Falls is a short walk, and the main entrance is one mile from the front door. The cottage has a unique walk-in shower, luxurious tub, and full kitchen for your own use. The main master bedroom has a queen bed, barnboard walls, large windows, access to back deck & outdoor hottub. Two twin beds in front room sleep 2.

25 minutes from Menomonie (UW-Stout), 45 minutes to Eau Claire, 1 hr 15 minutes to MN. Kamshire Valley's Main Cabin offers an abundance of wildlife viewing, an inviting large brick patio and firepit, miles of trails for snowshoeing, hiking and cross-country skiing. Has 1 bedroom with Queen bed; If you need more rooms we have 2 additional rustic cabins (air, heat-no bathroom) that are available for additional $50/ cabin/night. The Main Stay on the Bluff is a spacious 3,000 sq ft home with four bedrooms and two bathrooms, thoughtfully designed to accommodate a wide range of guests. The main floor is fully handicap accessible and opens to an outdoor patio with seating and a fire pit. As part of Samakya Cabins, one of two private retreats set on 65 secluded acres, the property offers incredible bluff views, peaceful surroundings, and a truly special escape immersed in nature.

Beautiful, beautiful cabin. Nested in the middle of the Porcupine Valley, this cabin is a place for you to find rest and relaxation. Sitting on the front porch and listening to the birds is probably the best part of the cabin. Attractive flower beds, large yard, spacious interior, pond, and creek. Back porch, front porch, and upper balcony. Great for a family getaway or a low-key long weekend away from the city.

This cottage once a barn for our 1906 era farm has been repurposed into a stunning 700 square foot two bedroom cottage. Less than a 1/8 mile from the Rush River, a class 1 trout stream, (we do have a private path down to the river) 1/2 mile from Vino In The Valley, a very popular sesonal restaurant, private patio, fire ring and gas grill. We also have 40 acres of wooded hiking trails.

Log Cabin, Lake Retreat

This authentic log cabin will captivate folks that want to escape the city for a fun filled weekend. Within 45 minutes from the Twin Cites, you will find your getaway on the east side of Bass Lake in Wisconsin.
