There is a footpath that leads directly from the property into the forest so you can enjoy walking and biking. There’s also two 18 hole golf courses nearby.

Lambsquay House - Apartment One

Lambsquay House is a beautifully restored 300 year old Georgian Country House, located in the picturesque Forest of Dean, situated between popular tourist attractions, Puzzlewood and Clearwell Caves. A former hotel, it has undergone extensive renovations and is now home to Calico Interiors, a family run interiors/soft furnishing business, occupying the ground and first floor. The second floor has been converted into two self catering apartments with private entrance accessed via a staircase.

Golfers can enjoy great rounds at Rolls of Monmouth and Celtic Manor "Open" courses. Cyclists, canoeists and climbers are spoilt for choice. The area is rich in famous historical and heritage sites, many with free entry.

Easily accessible to Stroud's famous market, Cheltenham races, Roman villas, village pubs! (2 adults & 2 children are welcome)

The Game Larders

Wythall is a half-timbered manor house in a secluded and idyllic setting with garden, fresh water lake, wooded grounds and vineyards. You will enjoy peace and quiet here and see an abundance of wildlife. Wine tastings and vineyard tours are also available via appointment. The Game Larders is completely self contained and situated in the west wing of the manor house. It is well equipped and furnished, with access to ample parking space and central heating throughout. Pets are welcome.

The Boathouse on the River Wye with stunning views

Relax and take in the beautiful surrounding scenery at Boathouse which sits along the bank of River Wye in an AONB with spectacular views across the river. There are plenty of activities/adventures to keep you busy! Including wild swimming, canoeing, paddle boarding, climbing Yat rock, bike riding, woodland walks and fishing. The Annex Cottage - A country hideaway

Beautiful , private accommodation in part of our home with stunning views. The main bedroom has a king-size bed and a queen sized bed in the second . The bathroom has both a bath & a shower. The cosy sitting room has a log burning stove and a door to the shared garden. We provide a loaf of home made bread and marmalade plus butter, home made marmalade & jam, milk, tea and coffee. The Hall Inn pub is just 200 yards away and a short drive to Usk and Raglan and the Brecon Beacons

The cabin is suitable for 2 people, open living area with kitchen. Mezzanine level bedroom with a beautiful glass roof for stargazing, en-suite wet room. Private outdoor seating area with fire pit. Welsh cakes, Eggs, milk provided to enjoy in the peaceful countryside. We do not accept Hens/Stags, Parties or Pets.

Wren Cottage has an open-plan ground floor with a fully equipped kitchen and two armchairs. Upstairs is a large bedroom with a king-size bed with a bath and shower, vanity unit and separate toilet. Outside is an enclosed patio and garden with patio furniture.

It is located in an idyllic quiet part of Monmouthshire with many wonderful walks, cycle and running areas in the general locality. Monmouth town centre is approximately 10 minutes drive away, where there are a variety of restaurants, cafes, superstores, pubs and the sort of facilities that one would expect to find in an old Market Town. A place to be enjoyed through all of the seasons.
