Pieve di Caminino Historic Farm

Solo per amanti della natura. L'antica fattoria Pieve di Caminino, biologica, è un importante sito storico: ex pieve medievale sorta all'incrocio di due strade romane, ospitò due santi (la chiesa del XII secolo è oggi un museo privato, visitabile dagli ospiti, su appuntamento). Oggi copre 200 ettari di proprietà privata recintata, posta su una collina panoramica. Sette alloggi condividono una tenuta con piscina (stagionale), due laghetti, un uliveto centenario, vigneto e una foresta di sughere.

Spese da pagare in loco in base al consumo legna 8€ a cassetta Gpl 6€ a metro cubo elettricità 0,36 a kw. Sarà fornita legna per un barbecue e un bagno caldo nella hot tub gratis.

The villa built entirely of stone gives our guests a relaxing stay in complete privacy but also pleasant excursions in the surroundings and the sea. The pool water is heated IMPORTANT: it is heated in the mid-season periods 28° (May-June) (September-November) IMPORTANT: We are immersed in nature and in the woods so there are flying insects! Our little farm is a beautiful location for a relaxing vacation with a private swimming pool( open around the 10th of May) We are close to the naturally occurring hot springs of Petriolo and 30 km. far from Siena. We are only two km. from Pari, an ancient medieval village.

La Pieve - the house next to the church

To the right of the Argenina church, after which it is named, it has the persuasive look of its 2 small arches facing west. Perhaps it was once the parish priest's house, or the one where cooking was done in the large wood-burning oven, who knows?
