It is difficult to find such an accessible property, in a traditional Canarian construction house, with quality materials, and in addition to being in the center of the town, it gives the feeling of being rural, surrounded by vegetation and where you can hear the singing of birds. Access and Terrace Through the external iron staircase, you go up to the first floor, where you will find the private terrace, which with a cheerful and careful decoration welcomes guests to their home. The attic is accessed through an external staircase, completely independent. The parking and the laundry area (washing machine and dryer) are common spaces that are available to guests at all times. You access the garage through an automatic door with a remote control that we will provide you as soon as you get home :) In addition to the independent access to the attic through the exterior staircase, you will find the door that connects with the private garden where you can enjoy comfortable chairs and the outdoor shower to cool off. The main advantage is that, respecting the privacy of the well-defined independent spaces, you have us at your disposal at home, by phone or WhatsApp for any question, recommendation, surprise that you want to prepare your partner or problem that may arise during your stay. The environment is calm and within the historical centre of Tacoronte, a small town in the the north of the Tenerife island. At 10 minutes driving it is the beach and natural pool of Mesa del Mar and other small towns. From the penthouse you have easy access to the north motorway (TF5) to quickly visit the rest of the island. If you do not have a car, there are several bus lines in the neighborhood. Whether you decide to rent a car during your stay and enjoy your own schedule and the convenience of having private parking, as if you do not need a car, the penthouse is well located in the center of the town, with a bus stop nearby that will allow you to move through the island to the main destinations. It is 50 minutes from Tenerife Sur airport (TFS airport) and 15 minutes from Tenerife North airport (TFN airport). Taxis are not expensive, and you can hire them by phone, or requesting such services.

On a clear day you can see the neighbouring island of Gran Canaria. The owner of the flat is a hiking guide and can provide you with information about the best places to go to, depending on your interests, to make your stay truly memorable. Please get in touch should you require a pick-up from the airport. The ground floor of the flat consists of a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with a shower and a big, open living room with a kitchen and dining area, as well as a balcony with ocean views. The sofa in the living room can convert into another double bed. A flight of stairs leads up to a smaller room on the second floor with a futon bed and access to a terrace that overlooks the Atlantic ocean. The apartment is fully equipped, as the owner lives there during some parts of the year. A washing machine, oven, microwave, TV, etc are provided. The apartment is situated in a quiet, private residential complex which has a shared swimming pool. You can also use the nearby basketball court. Puertito de Güimar is a small, typically Canarian town and far away from the hustle and bustle of the crowded tourist destinations but with quick access to the motorway. It´s perfectly located halfway between the south and the north, making it the ideal base for discovering the rest of the island. In the local restaurants you can try traditional Canarian dishes, as well as locally caught fish and squid. The more than 1 kilometer long, volcanic black beach invites you to bathe in the sun and the inner harbour with its wooden boardwalk and crystal clear water is perfect for swimming and snorkelling, as it´s not being used by boats. Directly outside of Puertito de Güimar you can explore the spectacular landscape of the nature reserve “Malpais de Güimar” with its unique vegetation and its own little volcano, the “Volcan de Socorro”. Easy to find. Puertito de Güimar is perfectly situated about 20 minutes away from the capital (Santa Cruz) and only about 25 minutes away from both the southern and northern airport. It´s a quiet town, almost untouched by tourism and mainly visited by canarians. Only 8 minutes away you can find the town of Candelaria , famous for its Basilica, in which you can find the “Virgen Negra” (black virgin), the patron saint of Tenerife. From the southern airport, get onto the motorway direction “Santa Cruz” and after about 25km you take the exit “Güimar”. Go downhill towards the sea and you will already sea Puertito de Güimar. From the northern airport (Los Rodeos), get onto the motorway direction “sur” (south) and follow the signs to “Los Cristianos”. After about 25km take the exit “Güimar”. Go downhill towards the sea and you will already see Puertito de Güimar. The holiday apartment is directly next to the “Club Nautico” (marina).
