A space that allows your mind to drink up the deep history of the surrounding area, from wild gold mining towns to when the buffalo roamed free on the land. 2 NIGHT MIN during busy season & weekends. During WINTER: must have AWD or FWD, experience driving in serious winter weather (snow, severe wind, extreme cold); the cabin is located on gravel roads & dirt driveway. Cliff's Cabin - authentic Montana retreat

Tucked into the woods at the end of the road just 13 minutes from the heart of town, this cabin is a treasure. Cliff built the place himself; each tree sawn on his tractor-powered sawmill. We added family antiques, new mattresses and original art (lotsa comfort and love). The covered porch is high in the trees with breathtaking views 1000 feet above the Yellowstone River. Kiss Me Over the Garden Gate

Kiss me over the Garden gate is an heirloom cottage flower. And like many of the plants of this arid landscape, our garden and the apartment itself emphasizes efficiency and minimalism with a dash of whimsy and charm. The apartment is located in the original footprint of my house which was built in 1905. I live in the newer addition adjacent to the apartment. One wall separates the old from the new. Outside in the yard guests will find years of gardening experiments...not all fruitful.

One bedroom apartment attached to what once was a historic log bar now an art gallery and frame shop. This business is closed for summer of 2025. The apartment is spacious, about 500 sq ft with sliding door opening to a large deck with table and chairs, propane BBQ, and views of mountains. Lounge chairs are available in the warmer months. It is an ideal location, so close to Chico Hot Springs, 4-5 restaurants and bars, fishing, hiking and the quaint western town of Livingston!
