Skirinish Farm cottage has been refurbished to a very high standard. Great for a romantic getaway, the cottage is at the end of a private road, situated close to the sea on a private peninsula. Relax in the cottage or use it as a base to explore the many attractions on Skye. Close to the main village of Portree and the harbour at Uig with access to the Outer Hebrides the cottage is perfectly situated. The cottage has good WIFI, perfect for WFH. Warm and cosy in winter as well as summer.

Opened in January 2020, the Gate Lodge is a charming octagon with plenty of original character. Warm and well-equipped, it has been completely renovated and sits within the grounds of a working conservation farm. Strictly No Smoking. Only a ten minute walk from Loch Bay Restaurant, the Stein Inn, Skyeskyns and Diver's Eye, the lodge is surrounded by nature and wildlife with stunning views. It offers the perfect, peaceful break. The cottage has a rich history. previously a dance hall and meeting place for the Home guard in World war 2. This cottage will give you a warm hug when you return each day from your outdoor adventures. Please note, the upstairs has low sloped ceilingsThe second room is set up as a dressing room. Not suitable for Children, infants or elderly with mobility issues to narrow staircase. 2 able Adults only. Most importantly, can't be compared to a pod caravan, chalet or bus.
