There has been a mill on this site since 1298 and in 2019 we completely refurbished the current 18th century milll to a very high standard to ensure a truly comfortable and magical getaway. You'll be surrounded by trees, bird song and the constant sound of running water and the sight of our resident heron by the waterfall. Little Brightwater is an easy 15 min. walk from the harbour along the beautiful seafront. It’s a cosy, self-contained 2-storey guest suite, rather like a little cottage, attached to the side of our house, with its own front door & sea views from the bedroom & sitting room. It’s just 100 yards from the SW Coast Path (& right opposite Looe Island) in Hannafore, which is a very peaceful & sought-after area of Looe. There’s free parking on our street, close to the house.

Take it easy at this tranquil getaway. A compact base within walking distance to several beaches and the coastal town of Looe. Within minutes, you can be walking on the South West coast path, enjoying breath taking views towards Looe Island. Looe is a popular holiday destination with shops, cafes, and a variety of restaurants. Although parking is available at the property, it can also be accessed by a walk from Looe’s train station or by bus.
