Secluded along the banks of the Slippery Rock Creek is the 4th generation family cottage, fully renovated in 2017, originally built in 1940. Descend the 45 steps to the cottage and find “there’s no place like (a 2nd) home”. From the wraparound deck you may see geese, deer, bald eagles, osprey, beaver, great blue heron and ducks. The home is situated on 13 acres of land bordering both sides of the Neshannock Creek. With towering old growth forest on all sides, you truly connect with nature. Amish Paradise has an open floor concept with the living room, dining room and kitchen on the first floor. There are 3 bedrooms on the second floor. Going up the stairs we have a side view looking out an arched window into the woods. However, our favorite part of this home is the view from the wrap around deck!! It has a knock out Vista over looking our property and beyond to Marti Park! Did I mention that this house was once a true Amish Home?😉

Welcome to the No. 8 Schoolhouse! This converted school was originally built by artist, Ronald Garrett as an artist retreat. 2024 brought many changes to the Schoolhouse retreat. Owners, Michael and Christina decided the Schoolhouse deserved a revamp. And revamp they did! They remodeled top to bottom while also redesigning to give their guests a funky experience! It's one of a kind. You'll never see another like it!
