Newly refurbished Northern Ireland Tourist Board Certified 1 bed self catering cottage attached to our house (cot is also available on request). Private courtyard and decking area ideal for a coffee in the sun or an alfresco dinner with BBQ facility. The cottage is situated on a small holding, with countryside views. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Parking is available to the front of the property. We are a 20 min walk from Knockinelder Beach & 5 min drive (30 min walk) to Portaferry village.

The Bolthole in Strangford is a small cosy home located in one of Northern Ireland's beautiful coastal villages. The house dating from the early 1800's, with a later extension, has living, dining and kitchen area, two bedrooms and bathroom. There are great views across Strangford Lough to the coastal village of Portaferry. Strangford village is a great location near historic houses, castles and the Mourne mountains. It has great restaurants, pubs and perfect for Game of Thrones enthusiasts.

Willow Cottage, Portaferry

Willow Cottage is a cosy period home from the 1800s. Located on Windmill Hill, in the picturesque village of Portaferry, it is deceptively spacious and fully renovated, while also retaining a quirky character. Located 40mins from Belfast, Portaferry is a wonderful location to explore the Ards Peninsula, including Strangford Lough, Mount Stewart, Castle Ward and St. Patrick’s Trail. Portaferry village also has some great restaurants, pubs, the Portico Arts Centre and Exploris Aquarium.

Go to sleep with the sound of lapping sea in your ears from your private beach. Relax in comfort overlooking Millin Bay which is only a five minute drive from the historic town of Portaferry. It is an adults only cottage so no under 18s allowed to stay or visit. No pets allowed to stay or visit.

Less than an hour's scenic drive from Belfast, from the Annex, walk the coast to Kearney and Knockinelder beach for a swim with the visiting seals and curlews. Cycle the Ballyquintin route or try the nearby golf courses. Drive to Portaferrry to eat or get the ferry to Strangford. Our other cottage, which is immediately adjacent, sleeps 4 and people often rent the two properties together for larger groups.
