Quiet Country Paradise

Great private one bedroom lower floor suite which qualifies under new regulations. Parksville/Qualicum, have the best beaches on Vancouver Island. This suite has large windows that look out at a field, rabbits, deer, and mountains. Beautiful 2.5 acre property with walking trails near by. Englishman river and Rathtreavor beach are a 5 min drive away. Great kayaking and scuba diving. Central island location, see Tofino one day and Victoria another. EV charger with adaptor for all vehicles.

This cozy retreat is located on my family’s century-old farm at the base of the picturesque Beaufort Range. Bright, modern, and surrounded by open fields and forest, it’s especially well suited for longer stays while you hike, explore the valley, and the rugged west coast beyond. Quiet, and secure, the farm offers a peaceful place to return to each evening. Many solo and female travellers find this space particularly welcoming and safe — a calm setting where nature and ease come together.

Comfy suite with a pool!

Need a mid island get-a-away? An hour and ten minutes to Ucluelet and Tofino or stay local and check out all that Port Alberni has to offer! Studio-ish one bedroom suite with private entrance with a covered exterior sitting area. Don't feel like driving anywhere? Hang out at the pool for the day. Suite comes with bar fridge and a few small appliances. We also supply coffee and tea! A safe place for women and students travelling solo as I am always reachable by phone and usually on site.

Bradley Guest House

Bowser is a quiet village on the eastern side of Vancouver Island, right on the Salish Sea. Our space is quiet, bright and a 5 minute walk to the local beach. We are pet friendly, and as such, we have our own dog named Sam who is very friendly and quiet. Enjoy a time of rest and relaxation while discovering the many hidden gems that the area has to offer. There is a grocery store, coffee shop, salon and gift shop near by. We look forward to welcoming you to our little piece of paradise.

Cedar suite near Sproat Lake

Bright, modern, clean, private suite in home near Sproat Lake. Our house is across the road from the lake, however access to the lake is at the public beaches a short drive away. This is an ideal location to explore central Vancouver Island, the West Coast and the beautiful Alberni Valley. We are located 85 km from Ucluelet and 110 km from Tofino. There are many public beaches and hiking trails located nearby. We love where we live and are excited to share that with other people!

Bear INN- Bed & Breakfast

Panoramic black bear retreat on Somass River. This 2-bedroom suite features a full kitchen and spacious living area, but the true draw is just outside. Overlooking a primary wildlife corridor, guests enjoy front-row seats to black bears foraging along the river, eagles soaring above and even sea lions in the fall. September-November being the most active for bears, its like national geographic just outside your window. Short distance to local attraction stamp falls provincial park.

Need a place to crash along the way to or from the West Coast? We are just off HWY 4, the gateway to the West Coast! Take a break from the long drive, enjoy fresh ground coffee in the morning and all the comforts of home as you travel. As our guests you’ll stay in our 27ft trailer right in our yard ,across the street from Sproat Lake. You’ll arrive as strangers but leave as friends! You can use the public access for a swim, walk to a park with tennis courts, and even a bike park!

Welcome to a few days of relaxing. You're at the beach in 5 minutes or just step out the door to the forest. Sleep in, order a pizza and play a board game by the cozy woodstove. Put on your best duds for a dinner date down by the ocean. Maybe a fire in the backyard with a cup of cocoa? Full bathroom and everything you need for a tea or coffee and light breakfast. Mini fridge and microwave. Please note there is no kitchen and we live on the property with our blue heeler.

This is a 2 bedroom, pet friendly suite with full kitchen & laundry. Check in and out as you please with the separate entrance but rest assured, we’re right upstairs if you need anything! Please Note: This space is not appropriate for small children or those with mobility challenges.

Just a short drive to Sproat Lake & 3km from Clutesi Haven Marina Hike/mountain bike endless trails w/amazing features such as the hole in the wall. We are en route just over an hour drive to the beautiful Long Beach Tofino & the west coast of Vancouver Island
