Nestled on a hillside overlooking horse pasture and ponds on one side, it is only yards from the national forest boundary on the other. Bring the whole family to enjoy the natural beauty of the forest drives, the pasture scenes, spectacular sunsets, and star gazing on clear nights! It is a 15 min drive to the town of Mena, AR. Explore waterfalls, swimming holes, beautiful creeks, and hundreds of miles of backroads for hiking, biking, or ATV trails. The WOLF PEN GAP trailhead is less that 1/2 mile away, ride directly to trails from the cabin, no trailering needed. Unwind in the hot tube, gather around the firepit, or cook the BBQ pit. Scenic day trips and local shopping await!

Of our three cabins this cabin has the most spectacular view as it rises above the other two. It also is fully furnished & comes with a charcoal grill & a firepit for outdoor pleasures. Nature has blessed our area with an abundance of things to do & we are located in the center of it all.

Escape to a one-of-a kind countryside retreat-an artfully repurposed ostrich barn set on 40 private acres of peaceful, natural beauty. Spend your days exploring & hiking nearby trails or venturing out to mountains and crystal-clear streams or fishing in the private large, stocked pond with a pedal boat for fun. There is also a firepit with firewood included for evening relaxation and good conversation. Back at the barn, unwind in your own saltwater hot tub under the stars.

Enjoy this private retreat consisting of a brand-new cabin, sleeping 8 guests total. Cabin has vaulted ceilings, an open living/kitchen/dining area, and a private king bedroom with full bathroom downstairs. Upstairs is a loft bedroom with two queen beds along with two military grade cots with bedding and private half bath. Large deck with dining area, grilling space, heater. Fire pit areas plus setup for horseshoes. The south trail head is 3/10ths of a mile from the cabins!

The Cottage at Acorn is located in the Heart of the Ouachita Mountains and only 4 miles to Mena. The Cottage is a double cylinder block mother-in-law suite, with concrete floors, pine ceilings and vintage decorations. Walking distance from a playground, walking track, and Veterans Memorial Park. Covered concrete parking (with a basketball goal) and an outdoor covered patio. There are 2 entrances, please use The Veterans Memorial Park entrance on Highway 71.

Fishing/swimming/kayaking (kayaks provided)! Ride in to Wolf Pen Gap west trail head is 5-10 minutes away. It is located on paved roads and is about 4 miles from the city of Mena.
