Plockton - Unique Thatched Cottage

This truly unique thatched cottage enjoys a central yet peaceful location in the the beautiful village of Plockton. A stunning three bedroom Highland lodge on The North Route 500, boasting spectacular views. Samphire lodge is situated on a hill giving it a vantage overlooking the sea Loch to the Attadale valley. Situated at the edge of the village, you are a short stroll from local amenities. Indoors you are greeted by the warm colour of the wood, and feels especially cosy when the cast iron fire is roaring. Samphire Lodge has three spacious bedrooms, a wet room, an outdoor sauna and fully equipped kitchen.

The Byre is a lovely renovated barn. It's a 10 minute walk to the beach and train station, and a 5 minute drive to Plockton or Isle of Skye. Discover the great outdoors right here on your doorstep or enjoy some great restaurants and pubs in Plockton. The cottage offers 1 double bedroom and 2 single beds up on the mezzanine. The Byre is modern, cosy and well equipped. Including Wifi, Netflix, underfloor heating, lovely Nespresso coffee, a bbq/firepit and outdoor space. Pets are allowed.

Ideally situated for exploring the hills and mountains round about. The bridge to the Isle of Skye is only 1 mile away and the hills of Kintail are within easy reach at about 15 miles. The quaint, picturesque village of Plockton is close by and the historic Eilean Donan Castle 8 miles away.

Plockton, Camus Fearn Barn

The Barn is set in the crofting area a mile from Plockton village and is formed by the conversion of the byre and hayloft at Camus Fearn. The décor is modern with tiled and wood floors, rugs and lots of windows. Accessed along a quiet road. It enjoys panoramic views and is surrounded on three sides by sea lochs and the mountains of Skye, Applecross, Torridon. There is private parking area and a decking with plenty of room to sit out.
