Access to the Monsal Trail is just a 10 minutes walk away, and the villages of Litton and Tideswell are also easily accessible by foot.

Once belonged to the Swythamley Hall estate, where they grew fruit and vegetables for the people of the beautiful, impressive hall. Sit back, unwind in your very own garden which is approximately 1 arce! Be surrounded by a private wall, woodland and nature. Sit with a glass of wine or a cooled beer and take in the breath taking views of the rolling fields, trees, animals and the roaches. Why not take a dip in our natural lake!

A quirky self-catering shepherd's hut in the Peak District close to the village of Hathersage with stunning views towards Stanage Edge. This shepherd's hut, situated on a working farm, sleeps two people in a king size bed with separate shower room. Kitchen facilities with toaster, kettle, microwave, fridge, 2-ring hob. Shepherds Watch is set in a lovely part of the country, within the Peak District's National Park. There's plenty to keep you busy with the Manifold Valley just a couple of miles away. This is great for bike riding as well as walking, with Thors cave halfway down the track. Dove Dale and its famous stepping stones is only a 10 minute drive away. And for the thrill seekers Alton Towers is only a 10 minute drive. We have some lovely country pubs within a few miles of Shepherds Watch.

The Hut on the Hill A rural retreat in the heart of the High Peak. Sharing the Alpaca field, 'The Hut On The Hill' is enviously positioned looking out over one of the best views in the High Peak. Light the Lantern and the Indian Fire Pit with wood collected from the adjacent woodland. Enjoy the warmth from the fire as you watch the stars. Later snuggle up warm inside with the wood burner and read a book or simply enjoy the silence, free from WiFi and the burdens of modern life.
