We are a working farm with horses, donkeys, llamas, goats, sheep, peacocks, chickens, ducks, honey bees, cats and dogs. We have trailer parking. Nature trail through our woods with a stream. Tour farm to meet the farm animals, tour the innkeeper's art on the property. Walk through our woods along our stream. Nearby Knoebel's Amusement Park, AOActivities Area, Bloomsburg Fairgrounds and Bloomsburg University, Weiser State Forest nearby and reservoir for kayaking. There is a 2 night minimum stay.

Grandma’s Cozy Little House on the Farm is nestled in a peaceful valley 10 minutes south of Sunbury, Pa. on a working farm where our family raises potatoes, hay, livestock & poultry. Located with easy drives to Bucknell University, Knoebels amusement resort, Susquehanna University, Geisinger Medical Center, AOAA, Spyglass Ridge Winery, and Bloomsburg University. This quaint little two-story farmhouse will help you and your family sit back and relax enjoying the simple pleasures of country life.

Have a seat on the extra wide log swing swaying from the beautiful Olde Oak Tree or you can sit on the patio & enjoy the surrounding sounds of the birds, crickets & cicadas. Maybe you’ll enjoy an evening campfire in the back yard equipped with plenty of firewood and creative recycled seating provided. We are near Knoebels, just a 6.7 mile drive. The camper has all the accommodations of home with a spacious sized living area, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Outdoors guest have access to their own fire pit, picnic table & both gas/charcoal grills which is all in close proximity to the creek. Old estate 1920 on 3 acres quiet neighborhood pastoral setting 3 miles from Shamokin Pennsylvania and I live just up the hill if needed. No one lives on the premises so you have sole occupancy WiFi 100meg good for 4 users at a time Please note additional pricing if your party is more than 4 or if you bring pets which we charge $35 per night per pet. pets are not counted as guests. if your party is a few more than eight (ie kids etc) we can try to provide an air mattress

The Chestnut Street Cottage
