Located in a gated community, 3 cottage’s sit on 5 acres with pond, pecan trees, wildflowers, seasonal garden and abundant wildlife. The river offers fishing and water activities. There are 2 large fire pits with seating, 2 outdoor dining areas and lounge seating with fireplaces on the decks front & back. Main cottage has king bed, bathroom, living & kitchen. The 2 smaller cottages have queen beds, loft beds & bathrooms.

We welcome you here to enjoy rest during your travels or maybe need a quiet place that’s near the Hospital. We are 2 miles from historic downtown & close to parks & lakes. Also, I will prepare breakfast for you and deliver to your door! (Times for breakfast delivery are from 8:30 to 10am, just let me know:)

Unwind with a hot shower after savoring a glass of wine or hot chocolate and exchanging stories around the fire pit under the stars. Clamping Texas style!

The Pioneer House sleeps 16-20 guests with 5 bedrooms and 1 large bunk room with 4 full baths. 16 total beds. Multiple Fire pits and outdoor seating; enjoy the lake with private accessway down to the water for swimming, fishing and relaxing sunsets.

The Lazy Possum Cottage @PK

The Lazy Possum Cottage is a modern fishing cabin on the north side of Possum Kingdom Lake. This newly remodeled waterfront property offers a gentle slope to the water perfect for swimming and wading. It is usually deep enough to moor a boat or jet skis right at the shore although if the water level fluctuates you might have to tie it up a little further out or use our boat slip at the Marina less than a quarter mile away.
