We are conveniently located near restaurants, vineyards, antiquing, battlefields, golf resorts, ski resorts and caverns. Horselovers Hideaway is located on a working horse farm in Shenandoah, VA We are close to many attractions in the area, whether you are planning to visit Massanutten (skiing, tubing, indoor and outdoor waterpark, golfing), go hiking or horseback riding at Shenandoah National Park or in the George Washington National Forest, float the Shenandoah river, visit Luray Caverns, or JMU and Harrisonburg. If you'd prefer to stay close, enjoy the mountain views with horses grazing in the back pasture.

This cabin is now SOLAR powered with a fully automated (touch free) standby generator as back-up. Note-electric vehicles cannot be charged at this property!

Vacation or remote work-we now have Starlink. Spacious rancher with expansive wrap around porch. Enjoy morning coffee or evening cocktail on the porch overlooking fenced in 3 acres (4' field fence) and adjacent hay field with views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Enjoy the peacefulness and wildlife found here. Close to many hiking trails, Shenandoah River, shopping or just relaxing. We are dog friendly but we only allow a max of 3 dogs with prior approval.
