It is an ideal base to explore the Trossachs, Loch Lomond and is close to Glasgow and half an hour from Edinburgh by train. There's wonderful walks from the doorstep and it's a great base to explore the cities and sights of central Scotland. Our quiet & lovely village pub, The Swan is open Friday- Monday. It was the first community owned pub in Scotland and has recently had a major refurbishment. Be sure to book ahead, it’s popular!
