The Dartmoor Den is a charming, newly converted annex that offers self catering accommodation in the quiet hamlet of Grenofen. Downstairs is open plan with a fully equipped new kitchen and cosy living/dining area, cloakroom/toilet and private garden. The Forge is a great place for cyclists and walkers, or if you just want to get away from it all. The Cornish Coast is not far and the city of Plymouth full of history is just a short car journey. Tavistock has the markets and lovely cafes and restaurants. The Forge has a log burner to snuggle up next too on those chilly evenings and a garden to enjoy.

Milemead is a coarse fishery, and fishing is available to guests. We are located 2 miles from the historic town of Tavistock, 3 miles from spectacular Dartmoor and from popular mountain bike trails, making this a great destination for walkers, runners and cyclists.

Come rain or shine, there is plenty to do, to keep all ages entertained.

Detached cottage on the edge of Dartmoor. Located down a bumpy farm lane, adjacent to a private equestrian smallholding. Dogs welcome. Well equipped kitchen, good quality sofas and beds, unlimited FTTP superfast WiFi, reserved car parking space with EV charge point (see ^ below), gas central heating and wood burning stove for a cosy winter stay, air-conditioning for a comfortable summer stay.
