Welcome to our yurt-The Fireweed. Nestled in beautiful Port Rexton, our yurt puts you close to nature, much like a tent, but with a more comfortable stay and an amazing view of the night sky through the toono! We are within walking distance to the Skerwink Trail, Port Rexton Brewery, Two Whales Cafe and Fisher's Loft. Our location is perfect for exploring and discovering all the Bonavista Peninsula has to offer including hiking trails, boat tours, puffin viewing and amazing breathtaking scenery.

Yourte Belle Étoile

À 5 minutes de marche, nos yourtes offrent la plus belle vue sur le fjord du Saguenay, très luxueuses, elles sont équipées de four et frigo au propane, électricité à l'énergie solaire, eau chaude 22 litres à l'heure et douche( en été ) et l’eau est fournis en hiver . La literie est fournie ainsi que tout l'équipement pour cuisiner. La yourte est munie de toilette à réservoir, vous trouverez aussi des cabinets à fosse sèche à l'extérieur. Solar lights inside and out, beefy battery for electronics. Fast internet. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking: stovetop, fridge, sink, water. Host will provide transport from the ferry to/from the yurt.

Sleep up in the trees in our cozy Magical Treehouse. This place is the perfect base camp for your next adventure, or a unique spot to curl up with a good book. The perfect place to be in the woods, but not isolated. Cook your meals in the nearby cookhouse (40’ away, unheated) on a camp stove or over an open campfire. A heated bathroom/shower is 20’ away. We provide you with linens, cookware, plus help you plan your trip. Property includes miles of hiking trails and beautiful places to explore!

"Forest Yurt" at Belleisle Bayview Retreat

Summer season open from (May 8 - Oct 31, 2026) and Winter Season (Jan-April weekends only). We offer one night stays! Enjoy this secluded off grid (solar powered) cosy yurt, eclectic furnishings - situated in a private forest environment. On the deck a BBQ with cooking utensils and patio set are provided in summer - no water during winter season (Nov-April 30) - a small chemical toilet is provided. Enjoy the comfortable simplicity and relax in nature; sauna service available 50$.

Silver Moon at The Appleton Retreat is quite private, check out the Trail Map. This contemporary yurt features a private therapeutic hot tub on the wrap around deck, a fire pit, and fast wifi.
