We built it with much love and fun in a creative, organic way from recycled, found and donated materials. Welkom in ons familie vakantiehuis! Een dubbel chalet aan het water met in het midden een groot terras, gegarandeerd de hele dag zon op een zomerse dag. Het familie chalet is gezellig, gasten vertellen ons dat ze zich er direct thuis voelen. Door de nodige voorzieningen kan iedereen comfortabel genieten van de vakantie: zwemmen, varen, suppen, tafeltennissen, BBQen, etc. Binnen vijf minuten varen ben je op de Loosdrechtse Plassen, of bij de supermarkt in het pittoreske Loenen aan de Vecht.

Our romantic windmill (1874) is just a few miles from Amsterdam in wide green fields and along a meandering river: "Gein". Easy access to the A'dam. by car, train or by bike. You have the entire windmill to yourself. Three floors, 3 bedrooms with double beds: it easily sleeps 6, a kitchen, living, 2 toilets and a bathroom with bath/shower. Bikes available + kayak. Just leave some extra money if you did use them. No need to reserve ahead. Great swimming water and small landing just in front.

Met het openbaar vervoer voor de deur bent u rechtstreeks in 20 min. bij de Arena / Ziggodome en in 40 min. naar Amsterdam of Utrecht centrum. Schiphol is met het openbaar vervoer 45 min., 20 min. met de auto. Voor de deur ligt de rivier de Angstel en de Vinkeveense plassen.

Please note that the address is Achter Raadhoven 45A, a green garden door, and not Achter Raadhoven 45, where our neighbor lives. De Boomgaard (The Orchard) is in the walled garden of an 18th-century house on the legendary Vecht River, where Dutch country life was born. The b&b is a complete cottage of great charm and comfort. Guests have their own entrance, with free parking a few steps from the door. They have their own entirely private bathroom and kitchen.
